Weather Station Above the Lake

An old-fashioned wooden weather station rests on a rain-slicked stone platform enclosed by a rustic timber fence. Beside the louvered Stevenson screen stand a green metal instrument box and a classic rain gauge. In the distance, heather-covered hills slope down toward a tranquil lake and small lakeside cottages under an overcast sky.
