About PlayJigsaw
A quieter place to solve jigsaw puzzles online.
PlayJigsaw is a small puzzle website for people who want a calm, focused break without the clutter that often surrounds casual games. The site is built around simple play, clear image selection, and puzzle boards that remember your progress.
What we are building
The core idea is straightforward: choose an image, pick a board size, and solve at your own pace. PlayJigsaw supports curated puzzle collections, a daily puzzle calendar, local progress, optional account sync, and personal uploads for players who want to turn their own photos into boards.
How images are selected
Puzzle images are reviewed for play quality, not just decoration. A good jigsaw image needs clear subject areas, varied color and texture, enough detail for larger boards, and no important content trapped at the crop edge. We are moving the launch catalog toward original AI-assisted artwork, but every image still gets human review before it belongs in the public puzzle library.
That human review matters. We do not want the catalog to feel like an endless pile of generated filler. If an image looks muddy, too empty, too branded, too text-heavy, or simply unpleasant to solve, it does not belong on PlayJigsaw.
Our product principles
- Calm first: no unnecessary pressure, noisy UI, or forced competition.
- Readable boards: images should stay clear at 36, 64, 100, 144, 225, and 400 pieces.
- Player control: progress, uploads, and account features should be understandable.
- Honest pages: policies should explain what the service actually does.
